My task for this Home Page was to originate an easy-to-use format
of information that can be read or downloaded from other Websites. Those Websites are developed by math
professionals from throughout the world. Students will easily use them following
some directions that they will get during our class hours. Teachers might find the Math Recourses and Internet Education pages informative.
Next, thanks to Evan Glazer for his valuable collection of Math Web Sites that has been used as a basis for the Math Resources Page of this Web Site; thanks also to Jon Basden from Highland School for his wonderful interactive forms and links that I have been using in my everyday class activities. Many
thanks to Sarah Seastone, Judy Brown and Stephen Weimar from Math Forum
for including me in the Summer98 Forum Internet workshop and introducing
to a Multi-User Oriented Virtual Environment (Tapped In). Thanks
to Susan Ko from UCLA, my instructor of the Development Online Curriculum
course, who extended my vision of online teaching opportunities tremendously.
I would like to give a credit to Ritchard
Shadian from University of Hawaii for the helpful software called Quizmaker.
Most of my interactive forms based on its support.
Thanks to Andre Gelpi, the ZDU instructor, for help in implementation of my cgi scripts forms.
Many thanks to all contributors to my Home Page. Special thanks to my
husband who has helped to design HTML and Java Script coding for my
Web Site. He inspires me and always helps to fulfill my ideas.
I wish to thank Anja Greer and Alice Foster, presenters at the Mathematics and Technology
Conference at Exeter, for their ideas about incorporating technology,
self-reflection, the use of grading rubrics into our assessment routines.
The Internet brings people together. I have met many high level professionals in the Cyber Space
who share their expertise with others.
I am sure that I will add many more names to this list very soon. Stay tuned....
